Three Best Venues for Wedding in New York

By Max Luke

For a lot of people, a wedding is a fulfillment of a dream and a lifelong thing. One of the most important decisions related to your wedding is where to host the dream wedding. And, when we consider New York, there are hundreds of beautiful venues for a wedding. You need to ensure that you have the perfect place to celebrate your New York wedding just the way you dreamt it, irrespective of whether you want to have an outdoor feast for 20 or a formal meal for 200. After extensive research, we have narrowed it down to three locations that would leave you stunned and make your wedding perfect.

1.The Foundry:A 19th-century metal foundry located in Long Island, Queens, has now been spectacularly restored while leaving its industrial character untouched. The stunning contrast of modern steel railings and old exposed brick makes this venue an absolutely chic place to host a variety of important events such as corporate events, photo shoots, performances, and most importantly, the stylish New York weddings. Further, the fabulous proportions of the venue make it possible to have approximately 125 guests for a formal sit-down meal, 160 in outdoor tent sets, and about 200 guests for an elegant cocktail party.

2.The Central Park Boathouse:Since Central Park and New York are synonymous, it's not surprising that this is our second choice for a perfect New York wedding venue. Located at the very end of the lake towards the northeast is the famed Loeb Boathouse. Here, while enjoying a great wedding party, you can witness nature's magic across the park with ducks and swans coming right up to the restaurant deck. Based on the season, the restaurant can cater to around 80 to 165 people. However, the capacity can be extended to 230 people if you choose a seated meal with dancing.

3. The Lighthouse: You need to check out this place at Chelsea Piers, if you want a New York wedding overlooking the Hudson River. The lovely floor-to-ceiling windows at the venue provide an unforgettable view of the river. A wedding here, although somewhat expensive, will be an event that your guests will talk about for years. The venue can cater to about 100 to 700 people in a sit-down dinner and around 1000 in a formal reception.
